The diamond wire guide wheel in stone wire saw equipment is a core component that guides the diamond wire to achieve high-precision and high-efficiency cutting, with its performance directly affecting cutting quality, wire lifespan, and production costs.
Through precision structural design, the guide wheel ensures the diamond wire maintains a stable trajectory during high-speed reciprocating or unidirectional operation. The wheel surface is typically machined with V-shaped or trapezoidal grooves, precisely matched to the wire diameter (commonly 0.18-0.35 mm), preventing wire deviation, vibration, or breakage. Combined with a pneumatic or spring tensioning system, the guide wheel forms a slight arc angle in the cutting zone, enabling continuous grinding of stone by diamond abrasive particles.
Structurally, the guide wheel consists of a wheel body, high-precision bearings, shaft assembly, sealing unit, and retaining plates. The bearings are typically angular contact ball bearings, with radial runout strictly controlled within ≤0.005 mm to ensure rotational stability and prevent vibration-induced kerf deviation. The sealing structure effectively blocks the intrusion of SiC slurry and dust, significantly extending the service life of internal bearings.
In terms of materials, mainstream guide wheels fall into three categories:
Sizes vary for different machine brands:
You need to replace the rubber wheel after processing. For one hard marble block, one set of rubber wheels is required per block; for soft marble, one set serves three hard marble blocks. Each order shall contain a minimum quantity of 1,000 to 3,000 pieces.
